Staff rostering · ClubsThe staff app for sports and community clubs. Shifts, open-shift claiming, swaps and a time clock whose hours go straight to the manager for approval.
iOS and Android apps for Perth businesses, from a senior team with 20+ years of experience. We're the people behind the award-winning Containers for Change Collect App, and we have nine apps of our own live on the stores today.
Most Perth businesses don't need a moonshot. They need an app that does one job really well for their customers or their team. That's what we build.
Bookings, ordering, loyalty, memberships and customer accounts. A direct line to your regulars, with push notifications instead of paid ads.
Rosters, time clocks, checklists, job sheets, inspections with photos, and route planning for people on the road. Built for gloves, sun glare and patchy signal.
Already have a web platform, booking system or CRM? We put it in your customers' pockets, connected to the systems you already run.
Got an idea and a budget? We help you cut it to the version worth testing, then build it properly so it doesn't need a rewrite when it takes off.
Match-day tools, fitness testing, umpire appointments, club rosters. It's a big part of our own portfolio, and it's a lot of what makes Perth tick.
Apple Watch and Wear OS, home-screen widgets, Live Activities, Bluetooth buttons, camera and sensor timing. The things off-the-shelf app builders can't do.
Before Perth App Dev, our founders led the digital transformation at WARRRL, the organisation that runs WA's Containers for Change scheme. Kristen led the program; David architected the Containers for Change Collect App and the platform behind it.
That work won national and state innovation awards. More importantly, it taught us how to ship software that ordinary people pick up and use without a manual, at a scale where small mistakes get noticed fast.
Awarded to WARRRL for the Containers for Change Collect App.

Founded by Kristen and David; acquired in 2021.
Awards were made to WARRRL for work our founders led and architected before Stacksy.
Every one of these was designed, built and launched by us in Perth, and every one is on the stores today. Download one and judge for yourself.
The staff app for sports and community clubs. Shifts, open-shift claiming, swaps and a time clock whose hours go straight to the manager for approval.
Daily planning for field sales reps. Turns a customer list and call-cycle targets into an optimised day, with routes that cut the driving between calls.
Projects, tasks, documents and team chat, plus private Customer Rooms for working with clients on one secure link instead of email tennis.
Create short links, share them and see the clicks from your phone. Shorten a page straight from the Share menu, or glance at the home-screen widget.
Assign, develop and connect umpires across clubs, competitions and events, from a weekend comp to a high-stakes tournament.
The match-day app for hockey tournaments: the clock, goals, cards, sin-bin timers, shoot-outs and sign-off on the glass, synced to the tournament live.
Runs the Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test to the official protocol, for a whole squad at once, with beeps that stay exact across a 30-minute run.
An 8-second timer that flips red at exactly 8.000 seconds, plus the whole shoot-out: squads, the toss, every attempt and the result.
The FIH 6 × 40 m repeated sprint test, using two iPhones as the timing gates. No gates to buy or carry, and the two clocks agree to a fraction of a millisecond.

A custom app from a big agency can easily run past $100,000. Ours don't, and it isn't because we cut corners. It's how we work.
No account managers, no juniors learning on your budget. The people who scope your app are the people who build it.
Sign-in, payments, push notifications and store releases are solved problems we've shipped nine times. You pay for what makes your app different.
Most apps run on iPhone and Android from one shared codebase. We only go fully native when the app really needs it.
A short online brief replaces weeks of workshops. You get a fixed price for a clearly defined first version, so the budget doesn't drift.
Every app is different, so we quote each one. But here's where it starts, and here's what's always included.
Fixed price, quoted within two business days of your brief. Most first versions are live in 4 to 6 weeks.
A focused first version: the core screens your users need, on iPhone and Android, published to the stores under your name.
Get my fixed quoteHow many screens and user types there are, whether you need a new backend or we connect to one you have, payments or bookings, offline use, and device features like the camera, location, Bluetooth or a watch app. The scoping brief covers all of it, so the quote holds.
About 12 minutes on our online scoping brief: the problem, who will use the app and the must-have features. No meetings needed to get started.
Within two business days: the approach we recommend (iOS, Android or both), a fixed price and a timeline. Then a call to talk it through.
Clickable designs first, so you can feel the app before we build it. Then regular builds on your own phone through TestFlight and Google Play testing.
We prepare the listings, handle Apple and Google review, and launch. After that we stay on for fixes, OS updates and the next version.

Perth App Dev is the app development service from Stacksy, a Perth innovation and technology company. Stacksy builds larger custom platforms; Perth App Dev is the focused, affordable way to get a great app built. Same people, same standards.
Apps start from $5,750 inc. GST for a focused first version. The price depends on how many screens and user types there are, whether you need iOS, Android or both, and what the app connects to. Finish the scoping brief and you get a fixed price within two business days.
Most focused first versions take 4 to 6 weeks from an agreed quote to the stores. Your quote includes a timeline, and you'll have a working build on your own phone within the first fortnight.
Usually both, from one shared codebase, which keeps the cost down. When an app depends on precise timing, sensors or a watch, we build natively in Swift and Kotlin, as we did for YoYo and Hockey Shoot-out. We'll recommend the approach in your quote.
You do. The app is published under your own Apple and Google developer accounts and the source code is yours. Apple charges A$149 a year for a developer account and Google charges a one-off US$25; we'll help you set both up.
Every build includes 30 days of post-launch fixes. After that, apps need a little care: Apple and Google release new operating systems every year, and most apps have a server to keep running. We offer an optional monthly care plan and quote it up front, so there are no surprises.
We've taken nine apps through App Store and Google Play review, so we know what reviewers look for and we design for it from day one. We prepare the listings, screenshots, privacy details and reviewer notes, and handle any back-and-forth.
Yes. We're happy to sign an NDA before you tell us the details, and anything you write in the scoping brief is stored in Australia (Sydney) and never shared.
Often, yes. Tell us about it in the scoping brief. We'll review the code and tell you honestly whether it's worth continuing or cheaper to rebuild.
Perth, Western Australia. Every app is designed and built here by the people you talk to. No offshoring, no white-labelling, and we're happy to meet in person.
Take 12 minutes to tell us about it. Within two business days you'll have our recommended approach, a fixed price and a timeline. Most first versions are live in 4 to 6 weeks.
